Take Your Students to Belgium, the Home of Medieval Architecture & European Politics
Belgium is home to some of the most beautiful medieval towns and stunning architecture in the world. It is also where the European Union headquarters and NATO are based, meaning Belgium is a must-visit for Government & Politics students.
Brussels is one of the political capitals of Europe, and groups studying Government & Politics can visit both government and non-government organisations, as well as the headquarters of the European Parliament.
There are also a number of day trips that we offer ou and your student groups, to Bruges, Ghent, Ypres and Liège. Bruges is a beautiful mediaeval town, and UNESCO World Heritage Site perfect for architecture or history students. Moreover, the battlefields at Ypres, with their strong links to the past, can form part of a historical tour of the area.
Most groups going to Belgium on an educational programme with Anglo Educational Tours will be able to visit at least two cities. Also, the high-speed Eurostar train between London, Paris and Brussels means that travel between cities takes as little as two hours.
The following are suggestions for academic study abroad trips in Belgium:
- Bruges – Art History, Architecture
- Brussels – Government & Politics, Law
- Ghent – History, Architecture
- Ypres – History
